Everything an audio collector needs

One application for recording, splitting, tagging, converting and organizing.

Music recording

Play an album, a playlist or a single track in your streaming app or browser and record it in real time at full quality.

Radio from everywhere

Tens of thousands of internet radio stations, searchable by genre, country or bitrate. Record several stations at once.

Podcasts on autopilot

Subscribe to shows and let MusicOne fetch the latest episodes on schedule, ready for offline listening.

Automatic splitting

Silence detection and track markers cut a two-hour show into individual songs — with a manual editor for fine tuning.

Metadata & cover art

Artist, title, album, year, genre and artwork are identified and written into the file so every player shows it correctly.

Format converter

MP3, AAC/M4A, FLAC, WAV, OGG, WMA, OPUS and more, with adjustable bitrate, sample rate and loudness.

Sync to any device

Copy music to phone, SD card, USB stick, NAS or car stereo with playlists and folder structures intact.

MusicOne in practice

Recording

1x real-time, like a tape deck — only better

Recording starts when playback starts and finishes when playback finishes. There is no stream extraction and no decryption: MusicOne captures the audio exactly as it sounds, then does the boring work for you.

  • Recording planner: schedule albums, series, shows or stations
  • Automatic ad marking and removal for recorded radio
  • Level control, silence trimming and gap removal

Radio & podcasts

Your own private timeshift radio

Search stations by country, genre or language, or paste a stream URL. Subscribe to podcasts and let MusicOne deliver new episodes while you are asleep.

  • Record multiple stations simultaneously
  • Favourite lists and automatic re-recording of series
  • Full offline listening on desktop, phone and car

Output

Convert once, play everywhere

Keep an archival FLAC copy and a compressed copy for your phone. Convert whole folders, normalize loudness for the car, and export cover art along with the audio.

  • Batch conversion with profiles per target device
  • Loudness normalisation (EBU R128 / ReplayGain)
  • Lossless and lossy formats side by side

MusicOne questions

How fast is recording really?

Exactly 1x. A three-minute song takes three minutes. This is a deliberate design decision: nothing is extracted from the streaming service, so nothing has to be decrypted or bypassed.

Can MusicOne record several stations at the same time?

Yes. Internet radio is not limited to one stream — you can schedule and record multiple stations in parallel, as long as your connection and disk can keep up.

Which audio formats can it write?

MP3, AAC/M4A, FLAC, WAV, OGG Vorbis, OPUS, WMA and AIFF, with per-format bitrate, sample rate and channel settings.

Does it work with Spotify, Apple Music and similar services?

MusicOne records the audio your computer plays, so it works alongside any player or browser. You remain responsible for complying with the terms of use of that service and with local law.

Is there a mobile or tablet version?

MusicOne is a desktop application for Windows and macOS only. There is no Android, iOS or tablet version, and recording on mobile is intentionally not supported — MusicOne records on your computer, and you can copy the finished files to any device.

What are the system requirements?

Windows 10/11 (64-bit) or macOS 12 and newer, 4 GB RAM, 500 MB disk space plus room for your music.
